該篇結(jié)構(gòu)邏輯整體比較清晰,文字沒有硬傷,語言功底較為扎實。
開頭段立場清楚贊同廣告對社會影響為積極的。
body第一段第一句topic sentence:廣告能使人們得知所需產(chǎn)品和服務(wù)。
但是第二句(我們可以從廣告中獲得所需的信息)與第一句邏輯上沒有任何遞進,是個不必要重復(fù)的句子,這也是許多學(xué)生寫議論文最容易出現(xiàn)的一個非常微妙的邏輯問題。從寫作上說, topic sentence 后面就是supporting sentences, 邏輯應(yīng)為遞進,展開論證(像這里的第三句)。
第四句忽然話鋒一轉(zhuǎn)說:制造商也能賣東西。(中間缺乏一個銜接,coherence連貫性也是評分關(guān)鍵之一。 )
最后一句結(jié)論句:所以看起來廣告對賣家和買家都有利。
思考1:
如果該段是共同討論買家和賣家的正面,最好是一個較為平行的結(jié)構(gòu)。用On the other hand中間連接兩邊的有利。
思考2:
無論什么時候, 在一個段落中, 都不要忘了topic sentence的總起引導(dǎo)。如果總的論點是“廣告使人對產(chǎn)品消息靈通”, 那么對商家賣東西的好處只能作為由此推導(dǎo)出的益處,而不是在消息靈通下的論述。
body 段第二段, topic sentence 為,廣告能促進公司發(fā)展,進而贏得這愈來愈烈的競爭。
本段依然存在重復(fù)性的觀點,最后一句話對media的好處與本段無關(guān)。
body第三段,是一個讓步再證明自己觀點的段落,轉(zhuǎn)折處寫得不錯,讓步再轉(zhuǎn)折是一個加強自己觀點的不錯寫法。

Firstly, advertisements can keep the mass public informed about the latest products and services. Without presenting the products right to people , it may be hard to find in the sea of information . Thus,customer’s knowledge about this particular product is also increased. On the other hand, informing the public can also support businesses in selling the products, which is a technique of sales promotion and sales volume is increased. Therefore it is a win-win approach.
首先,廣告可以讓大眾了解最新的產(chǎn)品和服務(wù)。如果沒有正確地向人們展示產(chǎn)品,在信息的海洋中可能很難找到它。這從而增加了客戶對該產(chǎn)品的了解。另一方面,告知公眾也可以促進企業(yè)銷售產(chǎn)品,這是一種促進銷售的技術(shù),增加了銷售量。因此,這是一個雙贏的過程。
Furthermore, companies grow their sales and brand awareness through advertising. Obviously, stimulating the sale of goods and services — which is the primary function of advertising — is good for the entire economy. Every business, large or small, needs a competitive advantage todistinguish itself from other competitors. In today’s aggressive business world, advertising makes it necessary to keep improving in order to stand out.
此外,公司通過廣告提高銷售和品牌知名度。顯然,廣告的主要功能-----刺激商品和服務(wù)的銷售,對整個經(jīng)濟都有好處。每一個企業(yè),無論大小,都需要一個競爭優(yōu)勢來區(qū)別于其他競爭者。在當(dāng)今競爭激烈的商業(yè)世界,廣告必須不斷改進才能脫穎而出。
However, some claim advertising cause adverse effects of “shopping manias” as ads tend to manipulate people’s choices and spending habits in a very subtle way. By using manipulative tactics such as exaggeration, it’s hard for people to resist the temptation. While the concept of advertising isn't inherently problematic, the ultimate decision is in you. With the fast-changing growth of ads, you should also increase your level of making smart choices for yourself. Keep your brain active when you're looking at ads and you'll be better off.

該篇邏輯整體清晰,文字功底扎實, 不乏有亮點。
建議:
1.開頭段introduction 盡量不要寫任何細節(jié)。
body第一段為informed,但舉的例子“奧巴馬當(dāng)選總統(tǒng)”, 和廣告無關(guān),這里更多是新聞媒體的作用。
2. on the other hand 只能用于轉(zhuǎn)折, 不是承接。
3. last but not least 段缺少一個topic sentence , 并且這里所說的廣告給人娛樂放松的效果, 和開頭段里矛盾, 所以開頭段里的那段應(yīng)該刪掉。
(按部就班的寫,就不容易寫得天馬行空忘記自己的邏輯。)
結(jié)尾段不錯。

Nowadays people have tangled idea towards advertising, which is sopervasivein our lives that it is an indispensable part. Some praise the function of advertising while some blame it for the culprit of being disturbing and misleading. In my opinion, Advertising is greatly helpful for our general public as well as businesses, also to the extent ofthe whole society.
如今,人們對廣告有著糾結(jié)的想法,廣告在我們的生活中是如此的無處不在,以至于它是我們生活中不可缺少的一部分。一些人贊揚廣告的作用,而另一些人指責(zé)它是干擾和誤導(dǎo)的罪魁禍首。在我看來,廣告對我們的普通公眾和企業(yè),乃至整個社會都有很大的幫助。
Firstly, advertising keeps the mass public better informed. Consumers’ knowledge about the products is increased by advertising. Thus, advertising helps the consumer to save their time in purchasing. Take a common scenario in life for instance, just as you’re wondering what to eat, an attractive ads of a restaurant will solve.
首先,廣告使大眾更好地了解情況。廣告增加了消費者對產(chǎn)品的了解。因此,廣告幫助消費者在購買時節(jié)省時間。舉一個生活中常見的場景為例,當(dāng)你正在考慮吃什么時,一則吸引人的餐館廣告就能解決這個問題。
Moreover, advertising motivates businesses to improve. It is now extremely competitive among companies and this is what drives people to work hard and be more eager to win. By learning more customers’ need and polishing their products and strategies , businesses thrive accordingly. Withflourishing business, the whole countries’ economy will be greatly benefited.
此外,廣告還能促使企業(yè)改進?,F(xiàn)在公司之間的競爭非常激烈,這是驅(qū)使人們努力工作,更渴望勝利的原因。通過了解更多客戶的需求,完善他們的產(chǎn)品和策略,企業(yè)就會相應(yīng)地興旺發(fā)達。隨著商業(yè)的蓬勃發(fā)展,整個國家的經(jīng)濟都將得到極大的好處。
Last but not least, advertising is a delicate combination of commerce and art , so it also serve as entertaining factor to the general public. There have always been great examples of smart and creative ads, many leave deep impressions in people. Besides, it also influences people psychologically, as people always fantasize the wonderful life they will get from ads.
最后,廣告是商業(yè)和藝術(shù)的微妙結(jié)合,所以它也是大眾娛樂的因素。一直以來許多聰明和有創(chuàng)意的廣告給人留下深刻的印象。此外,它還影響了人們的心理,因為人們總是幻想他們將從廣告中得到美好的生活。
