The Taj Mahal is a monument of unparalleled, almost impossible beauty. Legends are that the Taj was built out of undying love, driving by emperor Shan Jahan’s grief after his wife’s death. Today, investigations have revealed an astonishing new story to this magnificent mausoleum.

It is the cruel harness of builders, designers and elephants that made this impossible feat. The massive , almost circular dome sent out a strong symbolic message, reminding onlookers of the perfection of heaven.

Moreover, if you look closely, the Taj building seems to stand out from other Indian structures. At that time, the majority followed the Hindu religion, which could be reflected in the style of buildings.
